Effective
December 1, 2005 I am changing the repair rates on all Regency, RELM, or Wilson portable,
mobiles, repeaters and base stations. The
repair rates will be $35 labor per mobile or portable radio, plus parts, plus $10 for
shipping (via US Mail Priority Service or FED-EX ground) anywhere in the lower 48 states. This also includes all modifications and Ham band
conversions on Regency or RELM mobiles. All
Regency, RELM, Wilson, or BK repeaters and base stations will be repaired at a fee of $45
labor per unit, plus parts, and $15 for shipping (via US Mail Priority Service or FED-EX
ground) anywhere in the lower 48 states. Ham
Band conversions not included.
Programming and/or alignment
fees on all Regency, RELM, or Wilson mobiles or portables are $20 labor per radio and $10
for shipping. All programming and/or alignment fees are on all Regency, RELM, Wilson, or
BK repeaters and base stations are $30 labor per unit and $10 for shipping.
All estimates are free but
there is a $15 fee for refusal (for the time that it takes to troubleshoot) plus $10 for
shipping if the product is to be returned to the sender.
Estimates can be emailed, or mailed, or faxed upon your request.
Payment: Payment
can now be made on my web site via PayPal, or COD, or prepaid by check or money order. COD requires the customer to pay an extra $7 per
box.
Warranty: The
warranty has changed to reflect the lower repair charges.
All repairs are covered under a limited warranty to be free of poor workmanship and
defective parts used in the original repair for 60 days, upon the customer’s receipt
of the repaired product. The only exclusions
are radios damaged by acts of nature (lightning, flood, fire, etc.), or improper use
(including a bad or improper antenna, over voltage, reverse polarity, etc.), or by
negligence or abuse.

Please be sure to fill out a repair form, print it out and send a copy with the repair. Or please include a note or letter that provides
your return address, contact information (day or nighttime phone number, and/or email
address), and a detailed description of the problem.
